Keeping advancement beta to gold

Will there be a Beta version that so close to Elite going Gold where the Beta testers will keep their advancement or will all betas be wiped.

After beta there will be a wipe as the game moves into gamma. If you are not aware gamma is a phase of the game where most of the initial gameplay will be implemented, but the devs may still be tweeting details.

It is not clear when gamma will start, I suspect that it will be at the end of the year. However we will all start from scratch at that point.

There may be wipes before gamma, but FD have said that they will try very hard not to wipe after Gamma has started.

So you should carry your gamma progress on into the full game.

It's important to stress that there could be wipes during gamma too, depending on how things pan out.

There's a planned wipe at end of beta. No wipes planned during gamma so you should carry all your stats/credits/ships etc in to release.
