Engineers Kessel Run

Dear FD

I really hate you for making me grind to get my bits and bobs, it annoys me to no end when your rng tells me i have dropped the soap yet again ^^, That said however i dont think you should make either of the fore mentioned points any easier. Im thinking Han solo didnt do the Kessel run in 12 parsecs becuase he ws riding a stock ship, i figure he kinda of had to work on it, and the great thing about the falcon is it was always a work in progress. Sure you guys need to sort out some stuff still, Bugs for permits, Type O's in brandy coding, Forgeting to include storage in the 2.1 patch.. so you are not hunted down like the redheaded stepchild. But i really love the 2.1 so far. Thxs for you hard work guys.

He didn't do the Kessel run in 12 parsecs because it's non-sensical, a parsec is a unit of distance.

Nice post tho :)

George Lucas stated that ships in the Star Wars universe can't travel in straight lines while in hyperspace due to collisions with celestial objects. Thus, distance is an important factor in how quickly a ship can get from point A to point B. The Millennium Falcon's superior navigation computer allowed it to travel shorter distances between points and arrive faster.

Yeah but Han Solo didn't get those upgrades to falcon from casino. he did them by him self and didn't throw dice to see what he got. There is big difference between engineers and tuning space ship parts for better performance. We need crafting system not dice roll.

That's some fantastic handwavium right there from Lucas to cover up some bad science in the script after the fact. :)

Repped for OP too :)

Thanks for the headsup, nice info. Seems kinda convoluted but it makes sense.
