Greetings, I’ve had the rift CV1 for about a week now...I’m loving it
I’m not having any real performance issues as such, even though I’m running on just over minimum spec
The only thing I’m struggling with is finding the right balance on bindings. I run voice attack, Ed profiler and G19s . It would seem I can either have all the Galaxy Map settings set to my joystick hat switch and using joystick 3 & 4 to navigate the galmap but like many others cannot select a system easily.
I’m in the Colonia region, so usually I can use bookmarks as a way of getting around just fine, but tonight I changed the mapping whilst trying to get auto dock to work, I can’t remember what I altered, but now the tabs for auto docking works, but I’ve lost functionality in the galmap.
Up until I changed it, I called for left panel in VA , then using my hat switch or J3 or J4 to tab along to contacts, then down on the hat switch to select the station and again to request docking . Worked a treat .Ive tried various things to try and revert to the way I’ve had it set, but failed tonight and left the game feeling frustrated.
Would anyone be so kind to share their galmap settings with me , ? I’m running a T16000M and. TWAC throttle that’s only being used as a throttle, so I’ve options left.
As for the DC, oddly I only put one on when I started playing in VR , you just don’t realise how big a conda is until you see it in VR .
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank FDev for supporting VR, being IN the game opposed to playing it, is a marvelous and remarkable immersive experience especially for an old timer like myself . [yesnod]
