Newcomer / Intro Key to deploy Fuel Scoop any ideas???

I use keyboard and mouse, so much easier, but I cannot find the key for the deployment of the fuel scoop. I have looked everywhere for it but still nothing, Anybody out there know what the key is??

I will point out that I have looked in the potions and that waist of space online user guide and found nothing. Is it a user defined key or a set key the same as cargo scoop?

You dont need to deploy it, if you have one and fly appropriately close to the right kind of star, it automatically activates - the system it uses is pretty intuitive once you see it. You need to be in Supercruise though.

It's automatic you need to be in supercruise when you get close enough 2 lines appear one is heat and the other is your fuel tank. keep your heat below 150% or you will start taking damage.

As soon as you come out of a jump you will be beside a sun....Simply keep going over its horizon and the fuel scoops kick in ...But watch your temperature

It automatic as soon as you are in range of the perimeter of the star
