Engineers Keybinding for SRV Data scanning not working

I am trying to Data Scan a stranded probe, but apparently the Data Scan keybinding is bugged. No matter what key I choose, I always open fire instead of scanning.

I had this problem, for me it was that the Fire Groups had got messed up after the patch, try changing them so fire gun is 1 and scan data is 2.

I want to know which key to bind to actually drive Forward.. had to self destruct the srv cause I couldnt move...

Yes, I can confirm. Avoid scan SRV missions too, till they hotfix it.

The patch messed up fire groups, recheck those and you should be fine.

I was able to scan yesterday. The fire button and the scan button were set to the same on my controller (I use a Warthog for flying and a xbox controller for driving). I admint that I did not try to change back to my old settings ...

make shure you got it in weapon groups set to 1 or 2 then it should be working....

Oh, something stupid happened. Since I waited for answers about this problem, I paused the game with my SRV parked in front of the probe by pressing escape. When I resumed about 2 hours later, I am welcomed with the information that my SRV has exploded. Now I have to return a thousand lightyears to the bubble. Lesson learned: don't exit the game for a longer period of time. Facepalm.

I will have to wait to try the data scanning once I get back and rebuy a SRV. Hahahaha.
