Keybinding help

OK so I'm mostly set...Got my Vive working, got my hoary old Cyborg EVO mapped for flight and interface commands, got Voice Attack for most everything else...

...except...

...planning a route to a system from the galaxy map. I can whizz around the map fine, and I can select the target system...but I can't seem to find anyway to get onto the "plan route" icon without a mouse!

Any suggestions?

Having this problem. Best way around it is to zoom into galaxy map and tilt map so you can see lines above/below relating to planets, this allows them to be selected easier.
Then use navigation buttons, I think that would be tab left & right. But I do not have Elite on at the moment to check keys :)

Hope that helps.

You can reach them without mouse, using your menu navigation buttons.

Sorry, but I can't...in the Galaxy map I have NEVER been able to select the popop menu that appears over the Solar system - even mouse-clicking it is a challenge as it likes to play hide and seek by disappearing as soon as I move away from the solar system with the cursor.

So far I can put the solar system in the galaxy map crosshairs and select it...which turns the first icon in the context menu orange...but I don't know how to access "Plot Route" (the second item in the context menu) without using a mouse.

If it can be done, I hope someone wil post a video showing it, and telling me what key they are pressing to do it (and what it's bound to!)

Thanks!

Sorry, not really...it's not selecting I have problems with...it's plotting a route...two very different things!

When using Galaxy Map in VR your head position matters as much as the mouse position.

I've noticed that when I put the mouse over a star it does not select it. I keep the mouse still and move my head slightly to left and right until it pops up. Your head, mouse and star all need to be in line to be able to click on it.

Also, you can use spelling with Voice Attack to enter star names into the search box. See here.
