Kickstarter Outrage

As a Kickstarter backer, my starting Cobra should be nice and shiny, not have a muddy canopy like some filthy waste hauler! Next time the slaves should use some Windowlene when valeting....

Seriously though, loving the detail!

I never knew, that I could use my target ID display as a cup holder. You forgot to add clip-on air freshener to the heating vents though! Also, your interior rear view mirror with a fluffy pink dice cube hanging off.

My Cobra has looked like that from the moment I purchased it. (Not KS backer, started with my Freagle.)

It's incredibly annoying that we can never get it cleaned or repaired. I was trying to take some nice screenshots of the INV Dreadnaught last night, but the glare from the window made them look like crud.

I try not to complain, but this is one of the worst moves from FD.

I think FD should put a toggle for views with no cockpit or instrumentation for screenshots, but I just love the little touches like dirty / icy cockpits- they make me smile as it shows the FD team are really putting some love into this game.

Plus, when we can walk round I want to write rude comments on dirty Imperial canopies that show up when they least expect it........

Spoiler alert: all Cobras in the shipyard used to be rentals. You will never get the:

  • windshield grime
  • cigarette smell
  • cigarette smell removing shampoo smell
  • dog hair

out of it. Ever. Sorry.

I enjoy exploring without the lines, it makes it more believable that no one ever came here before, and the scenery is better. Orbits do have their uses but I spend most of my time since the patch without them. Smart move to make it a toggle.

They're "targeting lines" to help you track the motion of ships in combat. They'll be adding an option to turn them off in a later update ;)

I honestly think they may add a layer of depth for the Oculus Rift experience. I'm not sure though, no Rift. But that's seems like it would be the case.

Nice post at any rate OP, funny!

Mini game coming soon, turn on your wipers, and squirt water into space, now catch those globules of floating water.

Be ready for all the rants from those who couldn't catch enough water but turned the wipers on anyway and have now smudged the canopy and made things even worse.
