Kill bounty hunters mission. How can I tell their profession?

I got a Kill Bounty Hunters as mission but how can I really tell that the person in my sights is a bounty hunter?

I had a similar thing with Kill Pirates, I had to kill dozens of Wanted ships to get the acquired 5 pirate kills.

How can you tell ?

There's similar problems with the Traders and Prisoners bounty missions too; a complete lack of clarity over what constitutes a valid kill.
After some trial and error, I discovered that Type 9s in USS instances count for trader kills (Wedding/Funeral barges, the ones that offer to buy stuff, etc.), but I'm still stumped as to what a bounty hunter or prisoner ship is.

It's got to the point where I just ignore those missions now. Hell, most of the time if I'm looking to make money bounty hunting, I just camp out at Nav Beacons now. Much more profitable.

I'm not too sure if you can specifically tell at all. The Pirate Killing missions seem much easier. I've found that Pirates associated with Anarchist type governments in a system are usually the ones that count toward the kill count.

I'm going to guess that Bounty Hunters might be the ones flying around with Authority ships. Those ships always have a clean status, and usually scan you with no ill intent to take your goods. Ships that attack wanted ships might also be considered Bounty Hunters. I like to keep a clean status myself so I've never risked taking Bounty Hunter hunting missions in fear that I have to attack said ships.

Just my thoughts. I'd be interested in figuring this out too!
