I accepted a "Kill X smugglers" mission yesterday, more out of curiosity than anything else as it paid only around 12-13kCr, but after FAing around at USSs and Nav Beacons and not finding owt I decided I wasn't that interested anyway and chose to abandon it. I waited til I was safely in an outpost before I clicked Abandon just in case it upset anyone enough to want to taser me. Nothing seemed to happen and nobody got upset. There was a small reward (±2.5kCr) offered for abandoning, but I didn't really check whether it had been paid when I did abandon.
This was in the LH UI Transactions tab last night, after I'd clicked Abandon:

When I got back to Olivas last night, where I had accepted the mission, this was in the Bulletin Board, at the top:

And when I opened it, again last night, this is what it showed:

None of the above has changed overnight, and I'm now definitely way over the mission time limit of ±4-5 hrs.
I'm at a bit of a loss. I can't see a way of saying "Take back your rotten mission".
Should I click "Finish" in the last clip, or would that put me back to having to find smugglers again? If not, what are my options?

PS: Clicling Decline doesn't seem to change anything.
