Killed by Planet Ring Upon Safe Exit of Supercruise

I targeted a resource extraction site on a planetary ring, exited when it was safe about 800km out, instantly destroyed by a rock upon exit.

Bug due to lag i would guess i exit near some rocks with prox warning sometimes

Happened to me first and only time I tried that. emerged with my nose 3 inches from an ice rock. Boom badda boom.

Haven't had this yet, but sometimes I do get a big scare. The other day I barely had the time to perform an emergency maneuver.

I tend to kill the throttle just before exiting SC. Saved me many times from "up in your face" hazards.

My friend and i had this happen to both of us last night within a few seconds of each other. in group mode so i would say definitely a bug. Happened at the fourth furthest extraction point from Dahan 3 Matalworks. Beware...

Working as intended. Think about it, you're cruising at a high rate of speed into a quarry, bouncing and bumping along, you downshift and hit the brakes, you didn't see the boulder that's sitting in your path (probably due to excitement and the boulder is the same color as the surrounding rocks), smash, bang, totaled car, totaled driver.

Same thing has happened to me at resource extraction sites, sucks to be us at that point, move on.

Ps: I stand corrected, as some point out it's reported, disregard, but it makes sense to me
