Killing sec ships of non leading faction in front of their station leads to wanted status when in SC

Hello together,

I found something special and I do not know if it's a bug or not. I fight against security force of a local, but minor faction with home system somewhere else. It's not the leading faction, so the bounty is just local when in front of the station.

So I drop into the stations space, because I am hostile the stations security ships (GU-97) open fire, the stations ships become all wanted.
first question
That has no effect - station ignores that fact - right? I do not get bounty for killing them and no warrant.

There are other security ships (Viper and up) which are unwanted in stations space attacking me, when I shoot back I am wanted, too.

I jump back into space, in supercruise I am still wanted - even though there's another faction the leading one. This is a bug?

I drop to the space of the leadings faction station and I am unwanted. But now the station says first "You must turn back immediately by imperial decret." or "You have been identified as hostile to the Empire. Approach no further!" - I assume that to be a bug, too.

But of course the further messages welcome me as a friend - of course, I am usually at least allied or friendly.
second question
I am killing the non leading factions ship in factions local space - why that is filling up the bucket for lockdown of the leading faction?

It happened several times in the past - and it's nearly a proof, I will check in the afternoon, if it happened again. That doesn't make sense and seems to be a bug, too, right?

The minor factions authority extends into SC for a decent distance (100ls?). You need to look at the bottom left to see whos authority you are currently in.

1000NM I thought. its a very small area, although I could be wrong in that certain stations may have a bigger jurisdiction.

In relation to OPs question what appears to be happening is that you are hostile with both the ruling faction and the faction you are attempting to attack at station. This will of course lead security to attack you irrespective of your wanted status. But I see you are getting the allied/friendly messages.

This sounds rather similar to a bug we have encountered where by some flipped stations can have an identity crisis, reverting to their old superpower status and pew pewing you. (not sure if this is related to flipped stations that retain their previous colours, livery and advertising. - Landing at red alliance stations is bloody annoying)

What mode were you in and were you part of a wing.

I've noticed that if you have recently become hostile with a faction, then you get the hostile scripts (but not actions) when you approach friendly stations. This seems to go once you log out. Put the wind up me once as I came into my home port though!

No wing, open mode and it's complete time in supercruise. Jurisdiction is always the leading faction so that wanted shouldn't be. But that could be the reason: 0.69ls distance is maybe too less.

Once I am dropped and jump back to SC I am unwanted.

The jurisdiction isn't always the leading faction. Its the controlling faction in the system (which may not have the most influence) in general space and around ports and bases they own, whilst the owners of other ports will provide the authority in the vicinity of those bases.

The Jurisdiction are of locations is 400 km for Planetary, and 1 MM for orbitals.

Within that distance, the owner of the location will be who dishes out the bounties/fines. Outside that is the jurisdiction of the system's controlling faction.

Ankou BLue own Rawdar Holdings and Cook Depot - so if you are wanted, System Authority will fire on you near those stations

yep, I know - unclear was just the fact why I am wanted in supercruise, maybe if killing this minor non leading faction fills the lockdown bucket of the leading faction, too (what I am suspecting right now). I will see how the next days are ...

Ankou Blue Federal Holdings should have an ended war in Aerial (the end trigger was reached two days ago after war time more than 9 days and gap of 5%). But war is still going on, so I wait till tomorrow to be sure that something isn't going like it should.

Then there's still the missing retreat in Carthage. The trigger should have been set several times in the last two months, but never came pending (where we can see that?).

Pending states will be listed in the factions summary at any starport where the faction is present. (The news feed area)

If you commit a crime in a local juridiction - it does show on your HUD until you dock or leave the system (or log out)
