General / Off-Topic Killjoys (TV Series)

Is anyone else really enjoying Killjoys right now?

For those who don't know it's a cheap and cheerful space adventure series made for the Sci-Fi channel (currently on Netflix) about a group of space bounty hunters who operate in a four-world system called the Quad, working for an interstellar mercenary group called the RAC (yes, really)

The thing I'm really enjoying about the show, compared to other sci-fi offerings at the moment, is that it's a no nonsense Space Western that hits all the right tropes (down-trodden miners on an industrial world: Check; Pompous aristocrats who own everything: check; faceless mega corporations with all-too-human enforcement officers: check; Awesome bartender: check; gratuitous action and over the top one-liners: You'd better believe that's a check)

Why can't more sci-fi shows be like this? Simple, light-hearted and unashamed of what they are.

Actually I watched the first episode yesterday, and it was watchable, but not a show I would watch each week like I enjoyed the expanse.
