Kills in a CZ not increasing the counter for missions?

Not sure if I'm missing something or if the game suddenly stopped registering kills in a CZ (could it been the BGS tick that triggered that?).

Killed a lot of ships in a CZ, but no update to the kill count for the mission (and I suspect no update for the bonds, have verified the kill count, but not the bonds).

Has somebody noticed that too?

(War is completely bugged in 2.2 btw)

I don't know, if it is a bug it's not a consistent one because I just finished a CZ mission. What's bugging me though, is there seems to be a mission famine in 2.2 Everyone's only generating one mission, two if I'm lucky, zero if I'm not. And if it's not the mission I'm looking for? Well that's just too bad. Is this a misguided attempt to make log-refreshing ineffective? Because if it is, it has the opposite effect of making it mandatory.

More likely I suspect that passenger missions are taking up "mission slots" that used to go to other missions, and they forgot to account for that (whoops). It's really making mercenary life hard, combat missions already had a low spawn rate when factions were spawning 5-10 missions at a time, now that they only spawn 1-2 it's like playing roulette. If it was me, I would split the mission board into all the subcategories (Mining, Hauling (includes data), Piracy, Smuggling, Combat (includes assassination), Passenger), and have each category generate missions independently, generally aiming for 2-4 missions in each category. It would make missions of a given type easier to find, because you just click on the appropriate sub-board.

Yes, it was the right faction.
I took the mission, went to the combat zone (after logging around a few times to spawn a combat zone - other problem), joined my faction and started killing enemies.
I got the bonds, the blue notification that I got the bond and the kills counted.

Until they didn't count anymore.
The enemy ships suddenly didn't have the "mission target" indicator. I got no bonds (checked that) and I got no additional kills. It stayed at 9/16.

The BGS tick happened while I was in the CZ.

I went back to the station, restocked and checked the faction influence. Went back to the CZ and started killing enemies again - this time it took 2 kills before the kill counter changed and afterwards everything was back to normal.

Very strange.

My current suspicion is that the BGS tick might have caused this as the faction I work for "won" the war early (Influence difference is higher than 15% after two days of war and one day min duration to go). Maybe that caused the confusion of the mission.


(Yes, missions look very bugged currently. Bizarre low payment for elite missions, stations that offer a lot of missions of the exact same type and only that type of missions, stations with 0 missions…)
