Another interesting crowd funded medieval role-playing game by Czech video game developer warhorse Studios still taking on backers if intersted. :)

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is an upcoming role-playing video game, set in the 15th century medieval Central Europe with a focus on historically accurate and realistic content. The game will be a single-player experience with branching quest lines and a highly interactive world encouraging emergent gameplay. Kingdom Come will feature period-accurate armor and clothing, combat techniques, and real-world castles recreated with the assistance of architects and historians. The game will also contain period music recorded by Czech masters that were taken note for note from medieval song books

I certainly have my eyes on this.
I especially like what they are doing with the combat. I hope they go full realism, medieval ArmA. I would definitively buy such a game.

As iread or search that day not been officially announced and is not yet in active development, but several Square Enix staffers have made reference to it in interviews

I just came back from the Alpha. There is really no "Play" involved at this stage. It is mostly walk around and kick the tires. However that is not to say that it is not impressive for a First Alpha release. It is very pretty to look at and it works well and the performance is great, at least on my system. There are clipping problems, most of the NPC's don't react to you. Walk and Run are way too fast. The stream in the village looks like Hawaiian Punch. But for an early Alpha, I give it 5 out of 5 stars. If it lives up its press, it will be a very cool game.:)

Is the world based on historical Europe or a fantasy world like a song of ice and fire?

It's set in late medieval Bohemia. The map is not going to be that large but it is going to be a near-perfect replica of what the area actually looked like in 1403, which is just awesome IMO.

there is a bit of gameplay, you need to wait for the archer to get to the range you then can ask him for a bow, but you need to pay him, he then suggests you make some money. i guess you can earn some money somewhere then can buy a bow and shoot a bit.

The environment is incredible I was hoping it was a large map - The character dialogue is a bit slow paced and the lack of jaw movement I assume is place holder but a fabulous start - its on my watch list.
