Kissing a Supernova Remnant (Black Hole)

Just took a trip out to the Eskimo Nebula, and decided to get a closer look at the black hole in the system.

Eskimo is my favourite nebula.
Have you tried kissing, and then go to SC from a standing start ? The normal whoosh of things towards you becomes a whoosh of things AWAY from you. Not sure if it is intentional or just an unexpected effect from the BH, but it is very cool.

I know what you mean by the effect. Its a byproduct of the lensing effect.
