Koalas being fed on the ground

I am working on a series of koala enclosures. I was really pleased to see them spend much more time in trees or climbing structures. But they are being fed by placing leaves on the ground rather than using the enrichment tree.

Any ideas on how to avoid this?

IIRC there's been recent mentions about zookeepers no longer filling enrichment items, so I think this is just a bug.

The Koala enrichment feeder isn't working in my saves either. I would suggest confirming the bug report filed by DeLadysigner located here: https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/51594
