Ships Krait MK2 Power Plant doubt

Hi, i have this Challenger for Thargoids: Link

Im building a MK2 for Thargoids with no shield, and my doubt is if i can put a Power Plant size 6A instead a 7A.

Notice in the Challenger i have 3 weapons engineered level 5 and also 3 Enhanced Guardian Shard Cannon that use lot of energy.

1. Can i use the 6A Armoured 5 with Mostered Power Plant of the Challenger in the Krait? Will be enough?

2. Due the Krait is for combat, i don´t need to jump a lot because i travel in the Carrier Clan. I was thinking to put in the 5A FSD Level 5 Increased Range but the EE use Thermal Spread for Thermal Load -10%

Is FSD and Power Plant effects: Thermal Spread for Thermal Load -10% and Thermal Load for Heat efficiency -10% the same? making the ship temperature increase slower?

Krait MK2: Link

Thanks!

I think I don't understand what is being asked in the OP since the link to the Krait already has a class 6 power plant, and engineered the way it is here, leaves plenty of power overhead.

If no other additions are made to this build, increasing power draw, you can just go G1 armored and call it a day. You can actually use a G5 armored class 5 and get away with it. As long as you're within a few percentage points of 100% power you can cover the overage with module priorities.

For Kraits low emissions, thermal spread 7A PP is the best for AX combat. Chief/Chally need to use armored, thermal spread (or monstered) and thus run hotter, though this is mitigated by TV beams and more frequent heat sink use (and in case of Chief, smaller guns you can fit). But a Krait can move at full throttle at less than 20% heat which makes it ideal for eg Titan-bombing.

Heat is incredibly important for fighting thargoids so the posted build will get repeatedly splattered. It's known that Coriolis, despite recent updates, still doesn't have adequate heat information, but what it does at least show us is the build runs too hot. It can't even idle below 20% heat. It's so hot, it's idle temp is higher than my AX Krait's temp in supercruise, that's why everyone is recommending the 7A Low Emissions +Thermal Spread.
