as well as bonfire night, it just struck me that tomorrow is the anniversary of the kickstarter kickstarting!
I wonder if FD have anything planned?
If I wish REALLY hard, maybe they'll put out a cobra vid

I don't see it as bad thing. Any footage would be early alpha at it's best, and we will see it soon enough ourselves anyway.
I wouldn't mind in-game engine flyby of showing some star system they use for tests, PG planets and star up close. That kind of things.
being pretty close to alpha im guessing that everything has been created and it a matter of testing little snippets. AI first then per to per and so on. but im going off topic, proud to say that I was among the first wave to back, as my backers app shows that I pledged on the 5th November and I don't remember it being midnight.

Yes it will be centered around that scene, but since David said a couple of weeks ago that the in-game cockpit view looks even better in-game now compared to what we have seen in the capital ship video it wouldn't surprise me if we get a peek at the real deal. I suspect we are going to see some actual gameplay before the alpha is released anyway, so why not this week? The alpha is only a month away after all.
