KS - Quadstick controller for disabled players

I just stumbled by accident over this Kickstarter but found it interesting to post here for the dev team to keep that controller maybe in mind one day for additional support as it IS after all already funded.
Just to keep on the radar.:)

Here's the homepage of the product itself:

I would suggest the developer to maybe donate one of those Quadsticks to Steven Hawkings, just for publicity purposes of course.

I almost faced personally a disabled 'career' myself last year and was just very lucky to dodge the bullet. It would be nice when ED allows handicapped people to enjoy their exploration game of space as it is just ideal in my opinion as sandbox game to allow those people tied to their chairs some freedom of the mind to fly through the stars and give them that way some freedom to dream with the rest of us.

Just a suggestion.

See you in space.

The journeys into the vastness of the galaxy, even if it's only a game, can allow an escape and a breath of fresh air to help these courageous people to forget from time to time their burden

I think this is for a great cause and of course should be supported ...
but it does do the same thing that I see with a lot of kickstarters these days, and stops me backing whichever project ... and that is they price their rewards too high.

I'll use this kickstarter as an example, but that doesn't mean I don't think this is a great idea.

$5 = Thanks for the support = nothing

$10 = Be listed on the website = nothing

$30 = A T-shirt (and the $10 reward) + newsletter = a T-shirt + newsletter

$100 = A Thank-you card (and the $30 reward) = A thank-you card

the next reward at $399 gets you a joystick.

Now as I said, this kickstarter is a great cause, but it's other kickstarters that do this too. Want the product? it'll cost you way way way way more than it should.
