Kudos from an explorer

Did my first 1,000 ly stint towards ... well the rest of the galaxy, and I'm a happy camper.

There's aren't any headline exploration features in 2.2, but lots of little things rubbing me the right way.

Simply traveling, seeing what star I'm headed towards is big. No trips to the galaxy map after a couple of Brownies, I can see a G coming up, dump the remainder of my fuel in that last hop, I'll be fine. That's sweet.
Did take some getting used to the alignment of entry/exit points in systems, but I'm already adapting and got a nice flow going from one to the other.
Had to take a comfort break mid stint, went to menu, logged back in, and continued the route. It is such a relief. And not having to plot the route as well.
Went down on the surface of a planet and deployed one of the two new debug cams, the Taipan. That thing is scary zipping over the terrain. Glad I have a Condor with me as well. Will have so much fun playing around with that thing to get shots that weren't possible before.

And this is just after one 1,000 LY trip and a faf on a planet.

I do have one complaint. When chosing crew I just couldn't pick the most competent one, because he was bottoming out the uncanny valley. So I went with second best, Terrence. Complained he hasn't seen it all, which is a sentiment I share with him so we're bonding already.

Here's hoping stuff is as rosey in the Bubble. Although I did feel a disturbance in the force that whispered "Prices are nutty"!

See? Got through an entire post, and haven't mentioned the 3D map once.
