I'm not 100% sure I understand the favours bit yet, I believe this can work to help lock in the primary mod stats but it could just be for the weapon special effects in which case this post is pointless. Feel free to educate me if I'm being silly.
With the new rules on favours for engineer ranks this is a quick and easy way for explorers to benefit greatly. If LYR expands to Kuhn we should in theory be able to use the 200% bonus to exploration profits to very rapidly rise in Elvira Martuuk's ranks and then use those ranks to mod thrusters/FSD/shields (Mainly FSD) to quickly be able to outfit entire fleets with good rank 5 FSD mods.
Let me know if I'm being silly or if this is possible. If it's possible let's rally up and try to get expansion moving twd Kuhn.
Even if not possible with favours it'd be a nice way to get Martuuk to rank 5 very quickly.
