Kumo Crew CG - Am I missing Something?

In my, albeit limited, experience, usually the CGs have opposite sides. It seems that this weeks CG has two goals for the same purpose; either delivering the commodities or hunting the NPCs who are trying to stop the deliveries.

What if I want to stop the deliveries?

How do I go about doing that?

Does it mean I must engage in PVP in Open Play, provided I can find suitable targets?

Or am I missing something here?

No, you're not missing anything and yes, you're spot on in your assessment. It isn't uncommon at all to have a trade CG and bounty hunting CG without any competition from another power.

If you'd like to stop the shipments then by all means hop into Open and begin interdicting freighters and cargo ships. Some like to spam system chat with their intentions, too. There are plenty of targets, of which I will be one.

Enjoy your RP and see you out there...just don't be upset when I don't go boop.

Pretty please, with sugar on top, CGs are often pairs of support / protect missions. Just as this week is 🤷‍♀️

Oh, I'm not new to the game, got about 10 months or so under my belt, just new to the forums.

Had guy in a Corvette last night pull me in my T9. He lines up behind me and begins firing as I boost away and let go nine reverb cascade mines. Dropped one ring of shields instantly. He immediately pulled away....thought about it and then re-engaged. As I was mass locked, I high-waked and by jump out I had no sheilds and 96% hull. I imagine he was very confused as to why ship didn't go boop. :cool:

Jumped back into system, saw him cruising around in super cruise but he left me alone. Delivered 720t of Argonomic Treatment and made 11mil CR. Job done.
