Lack of conflict missions in conflict zone sector?

So i'm in Buricasses (I think that's how you spell it? The other half of the Durius conflict) and currently docked at the walotsky gateway. I've entered the conflict zone a few times, and made some decent credits that way, about equivalent to the rate at which I could earn bounty hunter credits, but this way feels more rewarding because there's constant combat.

My biggest quip about bounty hunting is there are no bounty hunting missions. It's "hunt 6 pirates" not "hunt 6 bounties", which results in me having to find JUST THE RIGHT FACTION OF ENEMIES who will scan my cargo and say "What treasures do you hold" or some such nonsense. If I interdict someone who's wanted, they don't count as a pirate. If I attack someone who's wanted in a nav beacon, they don't count as a pirate. This makes the bounty hunting missions slow, and boring, just like the actual bounty hunting. Having to find targets, slowly fly towards them, hope the wonky supercruise system allows you to catch up to them, and then do the interdiction minigame, or go to a nav beacon and kill wanted targets while hoping you don't aggro system security because of the broken faction system, it's rather frustrating in comparison to the ease of the Conflict zones.

Back to the topic at hand, i'm enjoying the conflict zones. They're challenging, dangerous, frantic, they have unique music and the battles feel like real space battles. But I remember a few days back someone mentioned this:
If you are good at combat and can stay for a while combat zones can earn you some money, not much, but money. Its better to stop at the local station(or a nearby system if a station isn't present) that gives you a mission to shoot down x numbers of ships at a combat zone. The mission will give you more credits.

I'm at Walotsky Gateway, and i've gone to the combat zone multiple times across the past couple hours, and returned each time to cash in those vouchers, but i've yet to find a mission telling me to attack targets in a conflict zone. Do these actually exist? Are they bugged for certain conflict zones? What's going on?

Yes they do exist, infact you can pick up multiple missions and the kills will fill them all.
Example, 1 mission to kill 5, another to kill 9. You only need to kill 9 in total if you pick both missions up at the same time.

1 hour has passed, each time i've docked i've still yet to find any missions pertaining to the local conflict zones. Is the Durius conflict bugged?

no, just bad luck and the fact that they are tiny population outposts so they hardly offer missions to start with

See, I could understand that if it's the Durius system, but i'm doing the conflict zones in the Buricasses system which has an enormous population (Although only one station.) Even then, the only missions that pop up are the typical Pop Pirates, Trade Tedium, Ship Small Fries, etc. etc.

what's the influence of durius and patron's principles (IIRC - whatever the senator's faction is)?

they may just be having low chance to issue missions to start with

Durius in the Buricasses system has a 20% influence, where as Citizens of Tradition (The faction at war with Durius, presumably Patreus' personal faction) is at 55%, last I checked. Does this mean they won't spawn combat missions despite the presence of conflict zones?

Day 2 of grinding those conflict zones. Still, no missions are spawning, and I refuse to fly out to that durius conflict zone that's 200,000 ls away with NO REPAIR OR MUNITIONS ANYWHERE IN THE SECTOR. (ridiculous, i know that almost all of the binary star systems are absurdly far away, especially the infamous alpha centauri, and it honestly needs to be fixed with the ability to choose what star you're jumping to. also possibly allow docking with capital ships to restock/repair or put small battlestations in warring sectors somewhat near the conflict zones? (it'd be cool to have an actual base to defend and attack instead of... just.... fighting in space... aimlessly...)

Has anyone else seen any missions spawning in buricasses? Or do you HAVE to go to durius itself to get missions, even though all stations there are one faction and if you're fighting for the empire, you'll earn hostility+no repairs+no ammunition.

I see this as well in Ho Hsi, I'm working for Jet Power Comms or whatever they are called, the Federation affiliated one, and I'm not getting any missions for the conflict.
