Lack of diversity in between islands

As we've seen so far in the game, all the islands will basically be a harder version of the previous island with a different time of day. We aren't sure about Sorna but this concerns me for replay-ability reasons. If all the islands are essentially the same then that will be kind of boring.
The game may not have high replay value until future dlcs are released. I am hopeful for the games future, but launch might be lacking in features and variation.

Side note: Do not reply to this thread if you think I'm being negative. A select few members on the forum like to antagonize others into arguments, I am sick of that. I do not care about how negative or whiney you think I am being. Brett has also addressed this issue and even had to close one of my other threads because of these reasons. If you are being so disruptive that you are essentially closing others threads, you should not be here.

The islands may be similar in design possibly with the difference of some being differently sized and harder than the previous one.
But I hope to see unique features in each one that give a varied look in the islands. For example: Mountains, caves, tree species
cliffs, waterfalls, rivers and etc.

I'm hoping sorna at least had redwood forests as an option considering it's film accurate.

I agree it could be that way and its certainly a valid concern. With the base game before any future additions it looks like its going to be down to the creativity of the user to try and make something different with the limited resources available.

Terra forming the hell out of things looks like the only way to really stamp your own take on the "story" islands.

First of all we aren't playing on whole islands. Just a small, medium or large area that we can build on. So there isn't really away to make them all look that different. Maybe some different types of trees could be used but I think that's already in the game. Most islands look the same. If you look at any island chain typically they all look similar.

Not sure what you have watched but there is a ton of diversity between islands. Heck even between the first two we have seen a difference between islands one is full of lush jungle. The other is beachfront. We know some have waterfalls and other features. The game is built around using the limited space as well as playing each different contract to the full extent which is impossible on one playthrough.

Lego Jurassic World the game did a fantastic job with Isla Sorna, the East side of the island is TLW style with redwood and open areas while the West side is JP3 dense rain forest jungle. Both are indeed really different from the Hawaian biome of Isla Nublar.
