Been doing a lot of bounty hunting and really enjoying it, but it seems the only places to really get into big groups of respawning, wanted, NPCs is at beacons which are always near the star in a system. I enjoy the option of also finding wanted ships in asteroid extraction points. This breaks up the monotony and are BY FAR funner places to dog fight. However, they are harder to locate, and still have the same issue of getting very repetitive. USSs are not much better - IF it's a wanted ship it always jumps before I can get the kill.
I hate comparing games like this, but just watching the dog fighting for SC gets me geeked up! Granted, it looks to get repetitive as well, but being closer to a planet filled with clouds and fighting amongst a plethora of asteroids just looks amazing! Can we get more of this type of variety in our beacon locations??? Or am I just doing it wrong?
Would love to see some fighting near and abandoned (or under construction) station. Imagine flying through the girders trying to evade attacking ships! Or how about a battle in a ship graveyard. Maybe the remnants of a lost battle where a federation cruiser's frame floats quietly through the silence of until a space battle for the remaining cargo ensues! Just some ideas.
