Lag, Login woes and more server lag

The last 4 days have been a very unhappy Elite experience, to say the least. All of the standard Elites ( 32 , 64 bit versions of both Dangerous and Horizons) have had extremely long log in times ( 25 - seconds) before server is available.
When (if!) you actually get into the game, everything is like Molasses, unresponsive, loading instances, accessing panels or Station services, or simply getting information from server takes 25 - 45 seconds. Wing is completely impossible, completely, no chance at all of being in same instance (Mate and I tried both open and groups, and every time I would be in "open" even if I was in PG)
When actually in game, alone, it is hardly possible to play, due to this, when in an instance (say in Hrez), game works but stutters when you open fire, and if your target was not wanted, that is only displayed 25 . 30 seconds later. Tough luck.

At the same time the Beta server, Commanders 2.3 works just perfect in all ways, no problem what so ever, perfect.

I have tried pinging servers, trace route, bla, bla... cant get a ping or response. I have changed the MTU to 1450 (why? was not necessary before?) all to no avail. :(
Windows Firewall is off, what have I forgot ?

But as I said Beta works splendid. What is going on?

I have filed more than one bug report, I will now resort to file one everyday.
Anyone got an idea ?

Edit addendum: i7 2600K, Nvidia 780 GTX, 16 Gig Ram, Fiber connection. It should not matter as EVERYTHING was ok untill 4 days ago, and BETA is still excellent.

I would suggest posting details about your current hardware and software setup.

EG: I am running Windows 7 on a Core i5 6600@3.3ghz 16gb Ram 256GB SSD +2TB HDD

All games running on a Measly Nvidia GTX 750 Ti ....

I have to admit the game runs a bit laggy for me when using my 2Mb ADSL+ connection (frontier servers far away as they are from us here in Australia)

But it runs much better when I run my system through my 4G mobile connection .... so copper latency must be an issue.

I guess 4G bypasses several kilometers of copper wire and goes straight to the closest exchange.

Keep also in mind that when I see people who play Elite in the UK and stream it on Youtube ... I see them come out of hyperspace or into instances within a second or two ...
not 15 seconds like me here in Oz.

That might be the issue ??

I guess Multicrew might not be possible for us with higher latencies.

PS: Yes maybe they are trying to run the REAL server and the Beta on the same pipeline ..... with most of us on the Real server and a lower amount of people who have access to Beta getting most of the bandwidth.
