Hey everyone! The new western section, "Frontier Town" is officially open at Lake Greenwood!

The "Beast" wooden coaster has been renamed "Gold Rush" and moved to the back of the new section. Its station used to be at the entrance of Frontier Town.

It also features an Inverted Boomerang, "Rattlesnake",

and my favorite, "Geyser Falls" with a lot of fun splash/water trigger events,

I had a lot of fun making this new section, thanks for checking it out! [up]

Other changes: I added in concrete supports for Anaconda/ExtremeG over the lake and redid HyperXL's track layout which was pretty janky before. It's still janky, just not AS janky, lol.

Next up for Lake Greenwood is a better entrance gate and a new section to the right of HyperXL. That will probably be it for Lake Greenwood as I've ran out of room!(it's on a smaller map size before they made them bigger). I'll keep you updated but for now I'm working on Spooky Woods over at my Alpine Valley park. [happy]

School must be out----all these new park projects are suddenly appearing ;) But whatever the reason for the timing, this is looking great, CFC!

Those mushroom-looking rocks are very well done. Nice touch. They remind me of stromatolites, which I think are cool because they're amongst the oldest traces of life on Earth, yet even so are visible from space ;)

I'm not in school, just a guy with too much time on his hands [tongue] Although I do take a while to make a new section, I've been working on Frontier Town since February.

Interesting info about stromatolites! I like to think that Frontier Town's geography was formed after all the years of erosion from the geysers. Probably not scientifically accurate haha, but still looks cool! [up]

For those that like WIP shots, here are a few,

I went with a race theme to go with the Sprint500 coaster. I made this before the update with the new coaster so I made custom supports for this one. I might remake it again using the new one but I couldn't figure out how to get the top hill within 400ft, it's either too high or too low.

Sadly you won't see guests using the picnic tables which is a bummer. If they do work for you, let me know! Absolutely 0 on my end. Not sure about the vista points either, I think I saw it happen maybe once...?[ugh]

I also got to enlarge the park through the scenario editor, woohoo! I started planting trees around the old border to make it look a little less boxy,

That new section looks amazing! I like the go-kart ride which appears from underneath the path to again disappear, amazing idea and looks very realistic.[happy]
