Bought mine today. Went up to Founders World to save the 10% and back to Empire again.
Beware fellow CMDRs - DONT just buy it when you can. Without an upgraded FSD, you will curse this piece of .... to hell. I had to run my E5 drive for a while, and it was just horrible fully laden (like 8 ly). All my good routes that I had with my ASP went instantly dead. What I could do in 2 jumps before now takes 10 jumps.
So yeh - remember to have 5m or so for the A5 FSD, or you will tear out your hairs.
(I actually wanted a clipper, but they didnt sell that at Founders World. First time up there)

I've been in the T7 for a couple weeks now, but just upgraded to the T9 and got that awe factor again. The lakon ships are all so spacious, i love it.
Semi's seemd cramped compared to this flying cathedral.
The interiors of the ships in this game really are immense. T7 looks great, although I haven't had a chance to try it yet. Just wait until you get to see the T9 in the Rift!

Damn - dont say that...... Was really looking forward to a more luxurious cockpit than the T7. Besides the jump length, I'm ok with the flying truck for a while. Asp is so so much better, but the T7 isnt as bad as I had expected from reading about it.
But I surely want to get some fighting power back again
I gotta disagree completely with his comment, the Clipper has the best view IMHO (and my main ship is the T9) The Viewsceen is huge so completely surrounds you in the Rift. It's the nicest view in my opinion, but the Lakon's have that cool view below you when landing and jumping.
The feel of luxury is amazing in the Clipper, but I do prefer the ruggedness of the Lakons, it feels more like a computer game in the Clipper, My T7 and T9 feels like I am in a real ship. Clippers cheap, so get one along with a Lakon, have the best of both worlds.
Wait until you try the conda. The size of the bridge is something else.
