----------------------------------------

Greetings commanders.

Here at Lakon Heavy Industries, we're always trying to improvise and improve - it's the reason our ships are the leaders in their classes. Part of what keeps us ahead of the competition is the attention we pay to what our customers want. Our market research team get constant feedback from you, the pilots, so that we can create the finest spacefaring hardware in the galaxy.

This survey is aimed at owners of all of our ground breaking designs. We want to know how you use the ship, how you've fitted it out and what you think of the performance of our hardware, so that we can design its successor to exceed all your expectations - again!

Please take a moment to fill out the form below. Your feedback is important to us, and one lucky commander will be selected at random to win a brand new Asp Explorer mkIII upon release*.

It... it is? Can you elaborate for me? Thanks.

I mostly just wanted to see how people are running their ships and thought that this would be a more fun way to do it =).

You really don't know ? :D

The Asp Explorer is the civilian version of the military model Asp Mk II's (which first saw service in 2878). Lakon Spaceways now owns the licence to construct these ships and has marketed them heavily at customers looking for their first multi-crewed ships. The ship class has earned a solid reputation for long range missions and those requiring some discretion.

The Lakon Asp is a Lakon produced model (as they have the licence) of the old military Asp Mk2 - the Asp Explorer we can buy is in effect a civilian Asp Mk2. The Mk1, which I don't think we've seen in an Elite game, we assume were mothballed military ships and made obsolete by the Mk2, which has endured since 2878.

I don't know who made the original, but I think Core Dynamics are a likely candidate seeing as it is a former military model.

Running my ASP for trading/exploring beside standard (rare)routes.

If I am a satisfied customer? Absolutely yes.

What's my whish for the ASP MkII? An additonal Cargo bay of size 4 or 5 to differentiate capacity from the T6.

PhazonAran, Poseidal: Thanks for the headsup. I just got off the comms to our design department and they confirmed it, so I updated the OP.

Truth be told I only just started working at Lakon last week (and on a temporary contract at that...) so I'm still getting up to speed on the finer details of our range!

Thanks again =)

Miklos Atreides: Thank you for your feedback!
