LAKON Type-4 Hard Suit
The Lakon Type-4 Hard Suit is a battle-ready version of the Type-3 HS popular in star ports across human-inhabited space for cargo loading and maintenance.
Recently developed, the T-4 Hard Suit features two modular weapon hardpoints for surface defense. Unlike the popular Surface Recon Vehicles utilized throughout the galaxy, T-4's usually come equipped with surface-to-air missile capability, and much more advanced shielding systems to compete with Goliath-class skimmers.
Although the T-4 is comparatively slow and lumbering, it's usefullness in surface combat with a human pilot yields staggering success rates in military trials.
System defense forces seem to be interested in purchasing these hard suits in droves for their Special Operations applications- specifically their ability to be rapidly deployed at heights tested to around 1km.
