Lakon Type-6

So finally purchased a Lakon Type-6, had owned one in Beta 3 before I got the rift. Absolutely amazing I am standing on the bridge of a large ship! It's frikin huge, I actually get a sense of vertigo now when flying around, came out of warp and my stomach had that sinking feeling. This just gets better and better.

Has anyone tried the Type-9? I think the Lakon's will be my main ships, the view in the rift is just breathtaking 3am here, one trade run then off to bed. Well worth a night of hauling in the Cobra.

Felt the same way last night when I got into the Lakon. I wish that the shipyard let you.. "test drive" or at least, sit inside, of the different ships. Or at least, let us actually view a shipyard, not just a hologram image :[

Bought from SAKTSAK (Near SOL) That system has all the large cargo upgrades too. To fully kit it out go to 61 CYGNI (7LY from SOL) That has everything you need to fully upgrade if you have the cash.

Other systems with lots of modules.

Stocks all upgrades (from the general forum) LP 694-16 at Chapman Terminal

Groombridge 34

That should cover everything for most ships

I bought one at Ovid Abe orbital yesterday evening. They had the 32T (110k credit) modules on supply so i just had to swap the 16t's around and take 2 4T from my Cobra. No other parts though. I will have to look for a 4B FSD somewhere because i couldnt take that off the cobra. 104T with all the cargo modules and with shield. I will keep them now to see if they needed for interdiction run aways.

Just bought me one tonight. It's really as awesome as you said. I almost fell out of my seat when the docking bay lift slid me forward for the first time. I was expecting it because I was checking out the cockpit and how huge it is. When that thing ever slid forward it scared the hell out of me, in a good way
