Lakon Type 7 can it be speeded up?

Hi all, im looking to trade with a Lakon type 7 but the acceleration seems slow getting up to the speed of light and beyond. Is there a bit of hardware that i can fit to improve this

I have upgraded to A level components for everything and it is still as slow as molasses in the wintertime! Plus to fire up the frameshift drive you have to allow at least 45% in the heat range or you will go over even with the A level FSD. Just accept the fact your gonna be going slow and keep on truckin'!

Just changed from T6 to T7 and so far haven't seen a major difference in the 'overall' SC times. The ship is definitely sluggish during docking etc but I have a good Power distributer and can pretty much chain boost. I read a lot of posts that had concerns about it being slow but so far feels about right for the T6's bigger brother.

I think it's pretty handy for what it is, upgraded properly of course.

My biggest problem with it is getting it through the slot without scraping because most of the ship is above the cockpit.

It might be where you're trading rather than the ship. SC acceleration appears to be affected by the stellar objects around you. Trying to get away from a station in near orbit to a gas giant can be a real pain.
