Ive brought this up a couple of times, but between the T-10 and the T-9 I think there should be an explorer version of the type ships.

Size 7 internal
2x size 5 internal

Cost: 37,567,356 cr

Tell me what you think. This could be a great exploration ship for frontier to make

If anything. Type 8 should be pocket (Medium-sized) version of Type-10. I really like Type-10 design but it's both expensive and not really combat effective in terms of dexterity.

I'd rather mix the t-7 and the t-9. I said t-8 not t-11. Plus the t-7 already is a large-pad ship

Yes, buuut, quite a few folks see the gap between the Type-7 and the Type-9 being filled by a "Type-8". Something that's a more exploration oriented based on the Type-9/Type-10... that's probably a Type-11.

As far as your idea goes, it looks good to me. I just disagree with the name suggestion.

Why stop at a size 8 FSD?
If you're going to obsess about jump range do it properly and ask for a size 10.

Also, a decent explorer needs a large slot at least as big (preferably one size larger) than the FSD otherwise you spend your life waiting to refuel.

The types, to my perspective, grow bigger in size as the number increases. So in my view, you are saying my idea should be larger than the t-10.

A size 10 FSD seems like overkill, and a grade 7 fuel scoop seems large enough, but I suppose a grade 8 would be good for a 64t tank
