Lakon Type 9 (Assellus Primus) Crash

Would just like to thank the pilot of the other Lakon Type 9 who wiped out my Lakon Type 9 and lost me nearly 2 million credits of Cargo. I was on my last trade run before I bought the Anaconda and you just ploughed right through me after I stopped to allow you to spin around.

Although, it must have been epic to watch two Type 9's smash into each other in the Toast Rack.

Ouch.
Some people need to reset their pilot licences and the game could certainly do with including some sort of repercussion for ramming and destroying other ships in the NFZ of spaceports.

I was flying an L9 today after many happy hours in the L6, I've managed to get through the slot clean only twice due to the stupidity of the NPC ships. What is it with them coming in vertically and then stopping just inside? When there's two doing it it's nigh on impossible not to clip one of them.

Also I was following an NPC Cobra out of a station and decided to slow right down to allow it to get out of the toast rack and away. Then when I came out he flipped 180 and was going to re-enter the station. Split second decision to go up or down to avoid him. Clipped him as well.

And another thing, what's with NPC ships coming in over the advert line just as you're lined up for the rack? Freaking nutters.

I must apologise to the Cmdr in an L6 that I also clipped, possibly in LHS 3262 or 417, I wasn't used to the size of the 9 and misjudged the distance. I think everything was ok though.

As for the OP, commiserations on your loss, it wasn't me as I didn't visit AP today. I'll be trading in the 9 pretty sharpish as I find it too awkward to handle. Great cargo capacity though obviously. I'll be very interested to see what the Lakon 7 is like when it shows up.

Just so you know, barging, clipping, destroying NPCs in a Type-9 has no consequence. In fact I made sure I ignored them fully as evading them often puts you in peril and destroying them does nothing whatsoever.

I have been docking at AP as of late with my brand new Lakon 9 and I have had my share of obliterated AI small ship in the way, but cant recall obliterating another Lakon 9...
