LAKON TYPE 9 Frame Shift Drive Upgrade

Hello Commanders,

I'm currently flying in a Lakon Type 9. The jump range really sucks , even with a FSD B6 + lighter modules.
So i am looking for a FSD A6....my first question would be : How much does it cost? and my second would be : Where to buy it?
i am actually in Empire around Achenar....i have searched on some High Tech Stations, but they only supply FSD B6 max....any FSD A6 seen yet...

Not sure how you managed to fit a class 6 FSD in a type 7, it comes with a class 5.

I got my A5 Fsd for my 7 at Hale port in G 180-18, they may sell the A6 here as well.

A5 is still available as I am looking at one in fitting now.

[Edit] they sell the 7, asp and 9 here plus the Anaconda

A bit far for you, just checked, 186 Ly, :(

Class 6 Rating A frame shift drive cost me 16.1M Cr, I did not have to go to a High tech system for this, i bought it in a industrial system

-- I get 16.54Ly unladen and 12.34Ly fully laden with 452T of cargo (and C4 fuel scoop and C6 Shield)

16 million. There is an industrial system near Onionhead called Jibitoq (sp?) that has them for sale.

Wish Founders World had them because 10% off 16M is a bit of money but they don't.

Even with the 6A you will still have jump range issues. I have to run with 1/3 a tank of gas or else I can't make the 13.4LY jump for my favorite route. This is with 6A FSD, 444T cargo, 6D shields, 4B scoop, and 5 missile launchers.

Thanx you Chubby, yes i although do that : downgrading or reducing tank capacity to increase a little the jump range....i hope this ship will be unerfed in the future by Frontier...as actually, it is reduced to a simple hauler...
