That Rum CG made me feel all giddy last week and I figured I would give it a blast for the cause. Only, hauling all that booze made me think wistfully about my abandoned T6 "The Moonshine Express". I hadn't flown it since 2.1 I reckon and I figured this would be the best opportunity to blow the dust off it. I even played around with my load out a bit and wondered if I might get the opportunity to goose a few traders with a well placed Hatchbreaker. Sadly that never happened but I did hit the top 50% for three runs between Kongga, Bast and Harma.
Trousered the best part of 17 million for that so thanks to all the Tea baggers and other hard headed CG haulers. I'm looking forward to that Rum.
After I collected my cash and while I was all misty eyed about my old T6, I thought I would take a screen shot of it and framed one nicely with the holo advert in the background. I knew they cycled through loads but I figured the Lakon one would be up after a couple of Delacey's and maybe a handful of Zorgon's so I waited.
And waited.
And waited.
I saw a lot of Remlok adds. I saw too many Zorgon Peterson ads. I even got bored of the back end of the courier in the Gutemaya advert. Achilles the robot can do one too. As for the Caine-Massey local mining company (Seriously, who?)
I even started timing it after a while. I mean, after the point I got bored I started to time it. Six minutes after I became bored I finally got the shot I wanted. Its alright too, but not great, certainly not more than six minutes great. Its blatantly obvious that Lakon need more air time. Everyone owns at least one variant and most people need more than one. So come on Lakon, get with the programme and push those Delacey's out of the adverts.
Also the advert is a bit dull and could do with more colour, infact, I think you need to rethink your entire campaign.
