I did it for him
I had planned to go to either the Gransden Airshow (a couple of weeks ago) or Duxford (next weekend) but dithered when coming to buy tickets... net result when I finally committed to Duxford the Lancs were announced and tickets were sold out....
I shall probably camp outside the airfield somewhere and watch the fun from there for once....

LOL yes! Also, this morning we were driving through Bowness-on-Windermere in our little MG TF - top down of course - when the Red Arrows passed directly overhead, much to our great surprise!
We were originally going to watch the Lancasters flight at Brockhole but changed our minds and went to Morecambe instead - so glad we did, we couldn't have been better placed.

Tickets for Duxford is not sold out
. You just have to buy them on site. Doors open at 0800 (that's when I'll be there )
