Landing Gear triggers vertical thrust?

Since yesterday I noticed that deploying landing gear forces the craft "down"--I have to thrust "up" to compensate. I've done thousands of planetary landing but have never observed this--maximum speed is reduced, but it never caused a downward plunge. Any ideas?
I use a HOTAS. Everything else seems fine,

How much gravity was involved?

If it doesn’t happen in space stations then it is probably not thrusting down but a lack of thrust up to counteract gravity.

It happens both on FA on and off. I just checked. Deploying landing gear triggers the thrusters.

OK. But shouldn't any weird gravitational anomalies apply all the time? Why should they kick in only when landing gear is deployed?

Just tried it in interplanetary space both with and without FA.
Result nothing happened, tried again using thrusters and again nothing. I am not in a position where I can head off to a planet or station to check there.

I would look to see if I had a stuck key or button or a changed binding if it was happening to me.

Check you don't have something set for Alternate Flight Controls or whatever it's called. Those take over when gear is down.

Thanks! I found some entries in flight landing overrides. I don't remember putting anything in there, and don't know why they kicked in in today... Anyway, thanks. Removing the entries in thrust up and down solved the problem,
