Landing on Puzzle Block Outposts

Yep, I enjoy landing on outposts like that. There are a few where the assigned pad landing direction requires a tight squeeze between higher blocks, which doesn't make much sense, and can be challenging on a tight mission schedule. Looks like the station architect and the Pilot Federation weren't on good speaking terms when building those....

Made my 2nd to 4th million bouncing between 2 of these.

As Zenicetus says, the high rise and towers you have to navigate past stops you getting blase about it and you soon learn to fly tight.

There's one in one of the systems every seemed to be talking about from the beta (I guess only a limited selection worked then?) in a very low orbit, great view, and you're low enough to see the planet moving as you're docked there.

I like outposts, I fly a circuit to the landing pad as if I was flying a light aircraft. As you say, quite satisfying. They also seem to have the "loneliness" of outposts down, although as ever I'd like to see some people, maybe space bums in an outpost though. ...

I love outposts. It's so much easier to dock since there aren't docking restrictions and the banana brained NPC's can't block the bottlenecks. Taking off is faster too. whenever I pick a refuel system I try to make sure it has a close outpost to dock at.
