Oh I wish!
My legs are getting cramp in this cockpit, btw, do these seats have toilets fitted.
Now watch out, I'm going to use that dirty word, no, not the 4 letter one, the 9 letter one, yes you guessed it, immersion, bare in mind this is opinion and a wish, not all wishes come true.
I get deep into games I enjoy, deep to the point that psychologically I feel fatigue after playing for a while, especially when there's been a lot of activity, whether that be exploring, trading or combat, so sometimes it's nice to have a relaxing change while still in game, I can do this partially in Elite, park the ship on a planet, look at the vistas, but I'm still glued to that damn seat, take out the srv, still glued to a damn seat, now this is where I have to admit to a little contradiction on my part, in games like Fallout and Skyrim, sitting is the thing I do to chill out, but I do get the option to stand up and take a walk.
Elite has evolved very much since it's arcade type days of 84, and I'd like to see it continue along this path, when I played the original I had visions of what we see now, FD are on a 10 year mission, lets see more depth added, and certainly more story telling, there is an opportunity here for multiple ongoing story's, sagas, drama.
Oh and one more thing, I'm probably going to get blasted for this, when introducing the thargoids, please don't make them a black and white enemy, again here's an opportunity for more depth, yes make them difficult as they should be, but lets also have a chance for some dialogue with some, I've never subscribed to the notion that all enemy's are nasty bad guys.
