Landing T-9 on Achenar 3 with no shields and no Flight Assist (VIDEO)

Yup, I decided to try this this weekend and thought why not to learn and make a video of it. So this is my first gameplay video and a second video ever where I'm actually talking and speaking english  And video is actually from the real first attempts to land, so no cheating there. Might be, that at some point I make more videos, but due to the limited time I have for games, I'm really not sure when. But really hope I can make more videos, this was actually fun and educational :)

Tall Horizons - Episode 1.
CMDR S. Belmont tries to land a Lakon Type-9 (CHV Coal Kitten) on Achenar 3 with gravity of 6.75G in full trading outfit and full cargo load and 7D Thrusters.

I'm impressed. I didn't think the vertical thrusters could hold you up in that gravity without flight assist.
I guess I was wrong. I may have to give it a try in something inexpensive.

Were you able to take off and climb without FA?

Now try it on HD 148937 3

Thanks! Yup, there was very little headroom with vertical thrusters, I was almost constantly using everything I had.

I took a part to Heavy Weight Championship Circuit with this very same ship and that actually gave me the idea to try this. Offcourse I did landings there with FA, but like I said in the video at one point, it would be cool to try FA off at 9.77G's :D

About climbing off without FA, I didn't try it, but can't see why it wouldn't work. It just needs to be taken very cautiously and slowly, like landing.
