Landing touchdown sound effects

Maybe I didn't see something but when I land, my landing gear doesn't touch at first because the first thing that happens if I am not landing too hard or crashing is an invisible force grabs my ship and straightens it out. Then it appears to set me down. Now that is advanced tech but it sound like my landing gear hits ground right away. Could it make a different sort off sound, when it is straightening out the ship, 1st and then make the landing gear hitting the ground sound when it sets me down on the pad?

Minor stuff, but I thought I would share.

In my head I've always attributed it to your ships shield coming in contact with the landing pad and is similar to what happens to a large ship squeezing through the mail slot.

I always thought that these clamps come up and physically grab your landing gear to secure you to the spinning platform.

The same thing that clunks when it lets you go before taking off. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I dunno it doesnt look like physical clamps grab onto our ships though it could be a magnetic clamps of some sort.
