Hello all, finally have time to make use of my account and started playing last week. I've read a ton on how to play, make money, etc. I learned that transporters and trading are the games main way to make the most money in the shortest amount of time. My idea revolves around trading and is to have a freighter ship created for this purpose. Essentially it would be too large to dock in or on any sized platform but would utilize a space underneath (much like the land rover spot) for a small transport ship equivalent to the size of a type-6 (100 cargo space). You would essentially stop it in any no-fire zone (away from blocking the entrance of course) near any space port. Be able to disembark on your smaller attached transport ship, go into the spaceport to gather whatever you needed for transport, and then fly back to the freighter to transfer it until the freighter is full. (Rinse and Repeat) Outfitting it would have to be different since it can't park in the space port (maybe have the smaller transporter carry it back to the ship?) But overall the freighter would have around 800 cargo capacity with the ability to upgrade near 1200. Just an idea, I'd love critiques.

I'm sure that I read in the notes about planned update, that there will be a bigger transport ship introduced.
Have to say, not sure I'd be happy to play it at the moment, with the present issue of interdictions, well unless of course it's too big to be interdicted by say small and medium sized ships.

I would think anything could be interdicted assuming the proper interdiction class rating is used. For something this large though I doubt anything smaller than a Type-9 would be able to mass inhibit it when trying to recharge your super cruise.
