8 is the largest ive seen. It was one of those gold canister strong signal source fights. 6 vultures 2 cobras. Very profitable fight!
I thought 4 was the max. Are cmdr's allowed wings of these sizes??
No, for cmdrs it is 4.
FD explained that was the best way to keep it manageable in the HUD.
Boo -- Excuse me, im going to go post a rant about my gripes about this incompetence!
8 master to deadly Vultures in a gold trap, 'escaped with 80% hull and calling on any pilot who claims they can solo that lot, even a tanked condas shields fall before SCBs can save them.
8 deadly Sideys...that was a good fight, the 8 deadly vultures was a brave sir robin or die.

Well, you pre pot them (wow term) but first you take out one before they all start to fire. Once you do that they usually attack in a slightly staggered order. Also vulture NPC AI is terrible vs Anacondas. Half the time once you open fire they stop firing and just try and move around for some reason. So between swapping modules, you target one or two and they go into derp mode circling you and stopping some DPS. It is not impossible by a long shot. I also run 4 chaff for NPC hunting the whole encounter you can have a chaff up as well, this is more important than using a few extra shield boosters.
Also are you only running 1 SCB at a time? If you are for that encounter you are doing it wrong. Run either two or three. Preset your system priorities to shut off non combat essential stuff when you turn on another SCB. Stuff like life support, cargo bay, frameshift drives, and so on to get that extra bit you need.
