Last night I spotted an interesting stellar feature that I wanted to explore. However, it it does not appear on my map and must be a single star system. I have no way to tell which one it is or how far away it lies.
There is a little yellow dot on the HUD center that shows you where your ship is going. What I'd like to do is place that spot on the feature / star / whatever, then go to galaxy map and see a line projected from where I am toward the direction I am facing. Then I can trace that line on the map and see where it intersects with systems to set up a course plan. Would save a lot of "guesstimation".
