Last port o call

Hi all, it seems logical that there would be a ship's log that shows the recent ports etc.

I find myself having made a tidy profit in leather and wnting to do a milk run for a while but completely forgot which system I came from last night...

Any porovision for this - in game world surely there would be manifests and transaction logs, port authority comms etc..

The game does actually log where you have been. It just doesn't show it on the bridge/cockpit. You can find a few tools that will display those logs. Slopey's tool has a lot of great functions, you don't have to use it for trading part

I remain optimistic (possibly because I drink) that there will be a proper CMDRS Log implemented at some point. I seem to think there is mention of it way back in the ddf, for what it's worth. FAR too drunk at this point to dig a link up, but it's there in the archives.

Grab my BPC tool from http://www.slopey.com/ED/BPC.exe, set your AppConfig.xml to include "VerboseLogging="1"" in the network section, restart ED (if running) and you're good to go. The BPC will log where you've been, you can enter notes for any system or station, and the BPC can optionally read them back for you when you jump into that system. There's also an overlay which shows you the notes "over" the ED screen (ability to add from there coming shortly).
