Community Event / Creation Late Night Galnet News Pilot Episode - Constructive Criticism please!

Greetings CMDR's,

My name is Giant|2obot and I'm currently working on a project for my channel called Late Night Galnet News in which we take galnet articles and put our own, one sided spin on them, while giving them visual references and appeal at the same time. We've worked on this project for the last couple days as a test to see what it would be like and were now looking for some feedback from the ED community (and maybe even Devs!) some tips regarding voice: play with your intonation a bit more to get it flowing more easily. There's a significant difference in your final sentence of the segment just prior to moving on to telling us about the next episode.

I appreciate all of the positive feedback so far! The elite dangerous community is truly a good one to be a part of. This is my first time trying to do any type of voice acting so I plan on spending some time on it. My friends help me do the voices as well, and a friend of mine, bluefox (twitch.tv/bluefox) does all the graphics and helps me with the ingame recreation! Im really hoping I get some better in-game camera options/systems in the future. Thanks again to everyone whos checked out so far, I look forward to doing more of these.

I liked it, short, entertaining and informative. Feels less formal than the the other fan made GalNet news - which isn't a bad thing. It's good to have variety, much like in real life I'm sure even in the future there would be various news channels after all.

Feedback wise, my only criticism perhaps is the use of a random photo of a person for the interview part. I know it's hard to get imagery or voices that would fit the game but there must be another way. Perhaps locate an artist on the forums willing to draw up some portraits to use? Doing a voice impression of the characters involved is also tricky, perhaps it would be easier to just quote their responses in your own voice rather than try to act as their voice. Getting people from the community to read their lines is also an option, but I can see it would be time consuming and at times inconvenient for the people who have to do the voices, so I'm not sure how to best deal with that.

Either way, I liked it, well done. I look forward to more and wish you the best of luck with it all.
