Honestly? There is almost no way a Latin American animal pack would be a nightmare for me. But let's go with it, as I did say "almost". For the sake of mechanics, I'm not going to list any small birds that might could be WTE appropriate, since those alone would take up an entire animal pack. Nationalism bias for the Bald Eagle aside, the Macaws are the top "group" of smaller birds I'd love to see in the game, followed very closely by Toucans. Anyways...
Dream:
Spectacled Bear (quite possibly will come some other way, but just in case - assuming it made it in at all of course)
Patagonian Mara
Coatimundi (any species)
Black Howler Monkey
Squirrel Monkey (any species)
Brazilian Porcupine (I have not given up on you my little friend!)
Scarlet Ibis
Two Toed Sloth species (WTE)
That's leaving off other animals I'd be totally happy to get, but I prefer the Squirrel Monkeys to the Spider Monkeys, and I'm okay with getting or not getting both the Ocelot and Collard Peccary - both of which I think its actually realistically probable, especially if they were to focus on Central America. Also the Tamarins would be great for exhibit mammals. There's just so much of anything from this Latin America that would be welcome.
Nightmare:
More of.omissions I guess, things that would not be included versus what is.
1. No Monkey- I cannot even. I mean why even bother doing a Central/South American animal pack if there wasn't a single monkey included. Seriously, don't bother, it's too cruel.
2. Another Armadillo (yuck to the first, that goes double for a second)
3. Yet another Caiman
that's literally it.I guess I have my expectations set too low, or am just that welcoming to almost any additions to South America.
Because some are putting this out there as well:
Realistic:
Black Howler Monkey
Ocelot
White Nosed Coati
Collared Peccary
Two toed SLoth (WTE)
I'm pretty set on that lineup for the Central/Latin America scenery pack, but to add three more animals for the realistic animal pack:
Squirrel Monkey (any species): - not just bias here to choose it over a Spider-Monkey, thinking of the design work. The Coati will take a lot of the work here, and the Howler Monkey probably would too, so having a second primate that is close to what we have now would help. A Spider Monkey would take a bit more work. That's also why you won't see the Brazilian Porcupine on this realistic roster (I'm sorry my little friend you are too difficult!)
Spectacled Bear - assuming it's not already released in some other way, if so, replace it with the Patagonian Mara
Greater Rhea - another animal that wouldn't be as much effort.
Not necessarily exact species wise, but that would give two spots to animals that aren't immediately thought of Amazonian South America. Having some representation with that here would be great.
