Launch time of beta

Okay, I'm not gonna link the famous "beta schedule" meme, nor mention CMDR Thrust from Bradford.
But from my experience, the time of beta launch is meaningless because it's either the exact time you have to leave for work or a dinner with SO, or it isn't downloading properly, or it's downloaded but won't launch or it will launch but crash, or it won't crash but server is overloaded, or...
you get the idea.
To all intents, constructions, and purposes, the beta launches 2 days after beta launched. If you accept that, you will be a happier person.
