launch track not useable on track steeper than 90 degrees

ive posted on the issue tracker about the utterly senseless limitation in coaster building. i cannot place launch tracks steeper than 90 degrees.
if you have the same issue (which probably everyone has) please consider voting and clicking on can reproduce.
and yes, i have turned off advanced restrictions in the settings.

another screenshot showing no matter how you try it just isnt possible. the game tells me its due to restrictions, which again, i have specifically turned off the advanced restrictions
